These terms apply to www.hirefromkorea.com (the “Site”) and the recruitment services offered through it by Hire From Korea, operated by DevTeam Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”). By using the Site or our services you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Our services
- Free information about the Korean labor market, employment law and hiring processes (our guides and blog).
- Recruitment services for employers: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and contract and onboarding assistance.
- Optional services such as Employer of Record arrangements, payroll and contract review, quoted separately.
2. Information, not advice
Our guides are general information. They are not legal, tax or immigration advice. Rules change, so confirm specifics with a licensed professional before acting.
3. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information when you send a hiring request.
- Use the Site and our services only for lawful recruitment and employment.
- Do not post or pass on misleading or fraudulent job offers.
- Use candidate information only for the hiring process it was shared for, and never misuse or resell it.
4. Fees and engagement
Recruitment services start once we agree a written proposal or service agreement with you. It sets out the fees (for example a setup fee and a success fee), payment terms and any replacement guarantee. If it conflicts with these terms, the agreement prevails. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, setup fees are not refundable once candidate sourcing or introductions have begun.
5. Confidentiality
We treat candidate and employer information as confidential and share it only as part of the recruitment process or when the law requires.
6. Hiring decisions
Employers make their own hiring decisions and are responsible for the resulting employment or service relationship. Beyond what your service agreement provides, we do not guarantee employment outcomes and are not liable for losses or disputes arising between employers and candidates.
7. Content and citation
Site content is owned by us. You may quote short excerpts of our guides with a link to the source page.
8. Legal compliance
Everyone using the Site must follow the employment, labor and data protection laws that apply to them. Discriminatory or illegal hiring practices, or unauthorized use of candidate data, may lead to suspension of our services and legal action.
9. Termination
We may suspend or end access to our services for anyone who breaches these terms, without notice in cases of fraud, illegal activity or misuse of data.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page, and continued use of the Site means you accept it.
